My job as a photographer affords me the opportunity to interact with lots and lots of moms, and let me tell you, it is so stinkin’ fun to sit back and watch all the ways moms are there for their children. Whether it’s the mother of the bride gently helping her daughter into her dress on the big day or the mother of a newborn smiling and cooing to her first child during a fresh 48 session, I never get tired of seeing moms love on their kiddos!
And if you look really closely–regardless of whether you’re looking at photos from a family session, a birth, or a wedding–you can often see the same sparkle in the eyes of the moms in all of those photos. I seriously love it!
So in honor of all the amazing moms that I’ve photographed over the years, here’s a very short compilation of a few recent photos of moms in action. I wish I could highlight every single mom here, but we’ll have to settle for representing all those wonderful women with the few rock stars that can be found in this post.
