If I can just fangirl for a hot second, I absolutely LOVE using
HoneyBook. This software has completely changed the way I do almost everything in my business since the first time I started using it back in April of 2017. Even now, I still feel like I’m learning so many fun new ways to use it to grow and expand TLP.
A few of my favorite features include:
-
Automation | If you’re a small business owner, you know you could probably spend nearly all of your time responding to emails, requests, DMs, and comments. Being able to automate even a fraction of that communication has been life changing!
-
Templates | When a potential client reaches out to me, I am now able to quickly respond using a brochure template to showcase our services! In addition, I can update contract templates, create customized timelines, and so much more!
-
Easy Access to Important Information | I have the Honeybook app on my phone and, on wedding days, I’m able to easily access all the important details of that day – from the client’s timeline to their questionnaire! Before I started using Honeybook, I would have to take hours of my time scouring through emails to compile that information before each wedding and, even then, I would inevitably forget something because I didn’t have a proper system in place to make sure I was getting all the necessary information from my clients ahead of time. It’s been an incredible relief knowing I have everything I need right there in the app!
-
Income & Expense Tracking | I used to dread tracking my expenses and left everything untouched until February and then I would panic for a full month and a half while I scrambled to get everything together! But, since I’ve started using Honeybook, I’ve been able to record my expenses monthly which makes everything exponentially easier once tax season comes around.
A bonus perk about Honeybook is their partnership with the
Rising Tide Society. RTS is a community where the primary goal is to provide resources to help improve the creative economy. It operates on the “community over competition” mindset and the idea that when others “win” in our industry, it’s not a loss for us – it’s improving the economical environment for other creative entrepreneurs! RTS has free monthly educational meet-ups called “Tuesdays Together” which allow creative entrepreneurs to connect with other like-minded creative entrepreneurs in a supportive, educational community! And, while you don’t have to use Honeybook to be a part of the Rising Tide Society, I do think it’s cool that Honeybook values their clients enough to partner with an organization like RTS!
If you’re a small business owner and you’re not already using Honeybook, I highly recommend you dive into it immediately! In fact, not only can you try it out for free, but once you decide to move forward (because I know you’ll love it as much as I do), you can get 50% off your first year by using my code below!
If you’ve been going back and forth on signing up, take this as your sign to just go for it! I’m here to answer any questions you may have!
